Muslim Faith Representative (female post)
Part-time: 3.75 hours. Band 6
We are seeking to appoint a female Muslim colleague to join our well-established Chaplaincy Team. Our multi-faith team includes both paid and volunteer staff who work together to meet the spiritual and religious needs of patients, staff and visitors. The successful applicant will have particular responsibility for female members of the Muslim community.
Based at the Manor Hospital, an acute general hospital, the successful candidate must be willing to work at other sites where service level agreements are in place, and to participate in the out of hours on-call service.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills and be willing to work collaboratively. They should have previous experience of providing pastoral and spiritual care within a healthcare setting. Experience of supporting individuals who have mentally health needs would also be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be supported with ongoing professional development and supervision as required.
